Received this email via our contact form. Sounds bizarre in my opinion. But with eBay Cassini Search as mucked up as it is anything's possible.

Thanks for a informant page. Since a few days international customers
cannot view or purchase vehicles on ebay anymore. Every search or
browse attempt ends up with zero results. According to ebay support
there are two reasons: Nr one is that shipping is to expensive. Isn't
that up to the customer? Nr two is that the vpp program does not work
internationally. I got this response from ebay:

able to purchase a vehicle on eBay at this time, but we truly
appreciate your interest.

Specifically, the independent service provider that offers protection
for vehicle protection, or Vehicle Purchase Program (VPP) only
protects transactions where the seller, buyer, and vehicle are all
located in the US or Canada. Since buying a vehicle internationally
would not be protected, we do not encourage our buyers to purchase in
such a manner. This is why we do not allow you to see that listings,
simply because we cannot promote sales that are not protected.
